Get Quick Reply with Couria

By | March 23, 2015

Couria is a recently announced jailbreak tweak designed to enhance the user experience of iOS users by offering a more advanced quick reply functionality. Today, Couria is available through a special beta repository on Cydia owned by its developer, QusicS. Although it is still in its beta phase, you can download and install Couria right now.

As a jailbreak tweak, Couria is simply spectacular. It enhances the native quick reply functionality of iOS to a whole new level. Instead of just the last message, Couria allows you to view the entire message history of the particular user you are replying to. All you need to do is swipe down on the quick notification and you will be able to view the messages and reply to the conversation immediately.Couria-Teaser-1024x747

You can also add Activator gestures to active different features of Couria. If you want to be able to compose messages from any screen, for instance, all you have to do is set a certain gesture to call this feature.

Once activated, the Quick Compose window allows you to type in an address or select a contact from the Recent Contacts list. You can then compose a message just like when you are using the native app. Once the message is sent, Couria will hide itself and you can continue using your iOS device as it is.

To install Couria from its repository, here are a few steps you need to complete:

  1. Open Cydia and tap Sources > Edit > Add
  2. Add the following repository:
  3. Tap Add Source

Once the source is added, you can go to Q’s Beta repository and find Couria in the Tweaks section. Install Couria and you can begin to enjoy its functionalities immediately.

Keep in mind that Couria is still in its beta stage. You will find bugs and glitches along the way. If you want to help the developers behind this amazing tweak improve the app even faster, be sure to report any bugs you come across while using Couria. Don’t forget to configure the Activator gestures for Couria for maximum convenience and quick access to its functions.
