Home and lock screen now have amazing new effects with Weatherboard

By | November 20, 2014

We’ve seen a lot of tweaks since iOS 8 has been around, and Weatherboard is a common Cydia tweak which is now getting a lot of attention from people from all around the world. Your iPhone home and lock screens will have awesome effects, since Weatherboard enables users to use wallpapers which relate to the weather.

There are almost fifty different conditions that you can use on your phone, including but certainly not limited to sunny, clear, drizzle, rain and heavy rain. In addition, you will also have access to condition wallpapers. The function of the wallpapers is to replace your current wallpaper and pair it with any previously mentioned conditions which have been used. It’s up to you whether you choose day or night conditions, as both are available.WeatherBoard-1024x904

Finally, the City Wallpapers option allows you to choose a wallpaper based on what is happening with the weather in a certain city.  This will then update itself based on the weather in your city, and you can even choose to have the wallpaper update at certain intervals. Possibly the most interesting thing about this is that you get to see how the weather is changing just by looking at your iPhone. By going into Settings, you can configure Weatherboard once it’s been installed onto your phone. Condition Overlays and City Wallpapers are just two of the options.WeatherBoard-Settings

It goes without saying that Weatherboard is a great choice of wallpaper if you want to customise your phone a bit more. The animations and settings are definitely easy to relate to, which makes it simple to use. While the cost of this iOS 8 jailbreak tweak, priced at $2.49, is higher than most of the tweaks available, most users consider it 100% worth it.
