Listening to music is probably one of the most classic uses of our iPhones, as the iPod/Music app has been present on the iPhone since it was released back in 2007. Ever since, it has evolved quite a lot, but there are still certain limitations to it which make it unlikable by many people from all around the world. Today, we are going to discuss about Feedback, which is a Cydia app created by Ron Thakrar.

While it doesn’t change the design of the app or adds in some new features, the Cydia tweak makes it more usable. Read More...

ScrubAround makes your music scrubbers round in the Lockscreen and Control Center

If you’ve ever looked closely at the progress bar on the Lock screen or Control Center when a music is playing, you’ll notice that the scrubber is a thin vertical line that makes it difficult to grab and scroll it, especially if you have a thick finger (no pun intended). To get rid of this annoyance, ScrubAround is a jailbreak tweak that aims to change the scrubber to make it more easier to scrub songs.

ScrubAround replaces the thin vertical scrubber with a round and solid circle allowing you to easily grab it and scrub through a song rather than having difficulties pressing and holding the original thin scrubber. Read More...

Non-Stop Music continues to play a song from where you left it after a respring

When youe device resprings while you’re listening to a music, there’s no way you can continue the song from where it was stopped other than venturing into the stock Music app and playing it again manually. Non-Stop Music is a new Cydia tweak that aims to get rid of this annoyance.

The tweak continues to play a track even after a respring, from where it was stopped. Normally, when you’re device resprings, the track resets to the beginning and requires you to manually play the song again. Instead, Non-Stop Music continues to play the song from the point that it was stopped immediately after a respring. Get more music controls with Clex

I personally enjoy listening to music on my iPhone quite a lot, but it seems like there is something missing. Clex represents yet another great Cydia app that can be used by just about anyone willing to have some more control over their music regardless of the part of the phone that they are situated in.

With this in mind, Clex has a couple of great features and one of the most important is the fact that users can now get to see the list of songs that they have simply by swiping left or right. Read More...

Get rid of limitations in iTunes Radio with True iRadio

One of my favorite features of the Music app is iTunes Radio, which allows users to seamlessly stream music from different radio stations. However, it comes with various restrictions such as the maximum number of skips per station, ads and more. True iRadio is a cydia app that allows you to get rid of such restrictions.

It allows users to scrub through songs from the Lock screen, Control Center as well as the stock Music app. Scrubbing means that you’ll have the ability to move to any specific point of a song and listen to it, which you can’t normally do in iTunes Radio. Read More...
