How to adjust the page dots on the Home screen

Many tweaks on Cydia allow you to hide the page dots that appears on the Home screen. If you don’t know what page dots are, they appear above the dock on the Home screen and indicate the page you’re on. If you ever wanted to adjust the height of the dots, you might be interested in a new jailbreak tweak known as DotsGoDown.

Developed by Rave, DotsGoDown allows you to move the page dots on the Home screen higher or lower, taking it closer to the app icons or the dock. It works best when you hide the dock background using a jailbreak tweak from Cydia such as HideMe7.

Although it’s not quite a useful tweak, some users who pay close attention to the details of iOS 7 might find it handy.

As usual, once you install DotsGoDown, head to its preference pane from the stock Settings app in order to configure it. From there, you can adjust the height of the dots via the slider available. Once you chosen a fit value, you’re required to respring your device to view the changes. The pane also provides a Respring button to do so.

If you’re much into customization and in love with the page dots on your Home screen, you should probably take this tweak for a ride. DotsGoDown is available on Cydia’s BigBoss repository for free.
