Has it occurred to you that you wanted to send someone a message with something interesting on your screen, but you had to take a full screenshot and the crop it out? Well, this has happened to many people from all around the world, which is also the reason why CroppingScreen was created.
It pretty much represents a must-have Cydia app for iOS users, as it allows them to easily take screenshots of certain portions of a screen with the help of a smart and easy to use interface. This Cydia app doesn’t only save you a lot of time, but it is also easy to use. With this in mind, once CroppingScreen has been downloaded, all you need to do is to press the Home and the Power button at the same time, like you would when normally taking a screenshot. Once this has been done, the app will spring to life and the screen will grey out, revealing a cropping instrument that you can use in order to quickly select the portion of your screen that you’d like to take a screenshot of.
At the moment, this represents the only feature that the Cydia app has, as it doesn’t come with any configuration panel. Simple install it via Cydia and let it do its job whenever you feel like taking a screenshot. What’s even better is that the Cydia tweak is also quick and works well with the iOS 7 jailbreak. Unfortunately, chances are that we’ll have to wait a bit more until it is tweaked and also offers support for the iOS 8 jailbreak, but it shouldn’t be a lot of time.
