If wanted to jailbreak your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch, it may be prudent to hurry it up. As we have mentioned earlier, iOS 9.1 destroys the Pangu jailbreak, and as such, only a little time remains before Apple shuts the door on the iOS 9.0.2 signing window.
What does it all come down to? It means that once the signing window is finally closed, you will no longer have the option to upgrade or downgrade to iOS 9.0.2, which is, as you probably know, the last available firmware that happens to fall within the scope of Pangu jailbreak for iOS 9.
Apple has a tendency to close a signing window for a previous version of iOS soon after it releases a new version—which usually takes a week. Having that in mind, it’s of utmost importance that everyone who desires to jailbreak obtain iOS 9.0.2 as soon as possible. Don’t delay or you’ll regret it dearly.
Soon after Apple releases new firmware, the previous firmware’s signing window is closed in order to enforce new upgrades to the latest version of iOS. After Apple closes a signing window for an iOS release, everything’s over for that version of iOS, and there is no chance of upgrading or downgrading it. Apple has been utilizing this stratagem for quite so time, so it’s nothing surprising. If you just got into jailbreaking, however, it may come as a surprise, so be on your guard.
The best site to check the signing window is IPSW.me. By going to IPSW.me/9.0.2, you can swiftly see if 9.0.2 is still being signed. If it’s green, then it’s still being signed, but if it’s red, the signing window has been closed. At the time of writing of this article, it’s still displaying green, but that will change in the next couple of days once Apple pulls the switch.

If you’re on a lower version of iOS, say iOS 8.4.1, then I definitely recommend upgrading to iOS 9.0.2. Just obtain the software directly from Apple for you device version, and press and hold the Option key on the keyboard while clicking the Update button in iTunes.
If you’re using iOS 9.1, you can revert back to iOS 9.0.2 via a similar method. Download iOS 9.0.2, and choose the Check for Update option while holding the Option key on your keyboard.

I don’t want to sound like an alarmist, but the time to act is now. Apple could, in theory, close the signing window tonight if it wanted to. In fact, with its quick turnaround time fixing the Pangu jailbreak for iOS 9, I wouldn’t be surprised if it closed the signing window quicker than it has with the past few releases of iOS.
