Just about how often do you find yourself doing certain things on your iPhone that you may regret later? Well, chances are that all of us have been in this situation and that all of us have also sent out files or messages by mistake. Well, if you think that you are one of the people who just do this way too often, then BeSureBefore is the Cydia app for you.
What makes it great is its simple purpose, and that is to display a dialog box with a confirmation message right before initiating an action. For instance, after you’ve typed a message and you click ‘send’, BeSureBefore will ask you whether you are sure that you would like to proceed. With this in mind, the number of messages and pictures sent out by mistake can be greatly reduced.
What’s even better is the fact that this great Cydia tweak also works with a large number of social media applications such as:
- Facebook Messenger
- Facetime
- Skype
- Phone
- Messages
- Viber
- BBM
- And much more!
When it comes down to the ease of use of this Cydia app, it is safe to confirm that just about anyone who finds that they send things by mistake often can easily use this Cydia app. Once it is installed via Cydia, people can go ahead and check out the Preference tab in the settings panel where you’ll be allowed to modify a couple of settings in order to make sure that the Cydia app will function just the way that you would like it to. An even better feature is the fact that your iOS Device won’t even require a respring, as the settings are updated instantly.
However, leaving aside the great features that this app has, I would personally only use it if I really feel like it’s needed, because at times, it can get a little bit annoying- not because it doesn’t do its job right, but because too many confirmations while you’re texting with somebody can become a nuisance. With this in mind, I would only recommend it to those who find themselves sending messages by mistake way too often, or who would like to double-think about what they’re planning to send.
Have you ever tried BeSureBefore? If yes, what are your thoughts on it? Would you recommend it to a friend?
