One of the new features in the stock Messages app on the iPhone 6 Plus is that it now displays the picture of each of the contacts in the conversation list. The image of each contact appears right next to their conversation allowing you to easily differentiate between different contacts. ConvoPics is a brand new jailbreak tweak that ports this feature to all other iOS 8 devices.
Developed by Skylerk99, ConvoPics brings the same feature to all devices that are running the new iOS 8 operating system. Just like the iPhone 6 Plus, these devices will also displays pictures next to the each of the conversation in the stock Messages app if the contact has a picture.
Although a few other tweaks offer a similar feature, they are not yet compatible with iOS 8. ConvoPics is also the first jailbreak tweak that works exclusively on iOS 8 devices only. If you’re not on iOS 8 yet, we’ve already covered how you can jailbreak your device and install Cydia on it.
As you’d expect, ConvoPics is available for free of charge on Cydia’s BigBoss repository and as mentioned earlier, it supports iOS 8 devices only.
