When youe device resprings while you’re listening to a music, there’s no way you can continue the song from where it was stopped other than venturing into the stock Music app and playing it again manually. Non-Stop Music is a new Cydia tweak that aims to get rid of this annoyance.
The tweak continues to play a track even after a respring, from where it was stopped. Normally, when you’re device resprings, the track resets to the beginning and requires you to manually play the song again. Instead, Non-Stop Music continues to play the song from the point that it was stopped immediately after a respring.
After installing the app, there’s not much settings needed to make. The tweak’s preferences pane provides a ‘Smart Music’ toggle that can be enabled or disabled on demand. When it is enabled, the device will continue to play the song from the point that it was stopped after a respring. This is one of the best and most useful feature of this tweak.
If the toggle is disabled, the device will start to play a random song after a respring, but with Smart Music enabled, you can continue to listen to the song from the same point.
If you’ve been looking for such a tweak, then Non-Stop Music is definitely for you. The tweak can be downloaded from Cydia’s BigBoss repository for $1.
