If you still think iPhone is not customizable, you obviously haven’t seen the repositories on Cydia lately. There are hundreds of new tweaks available, each designed to make your experience of using an iPhone – or other iOS devices – much more pleasant. SwitcherDND is one of those tweaks; it is one I would personally recommend too.
In simple words, SwitcherDND is a jailbreak app that allows you to switch your iPhone into a do-not-disturb mode whenever you feel like it. The app instantly converts the default mute switch toggle as a DND toggle once it is installed. It can be hooked up with Activator for easy access to the mute or DND mode.
A good way to use SwitcherDND is to combine it with Polus, another jailbreak tweak designed to allow you to customize the Control Center. With Polus activated, you can now add a ringer toggle to the Control Center. The combination makes switching between mute and ringer modes very convenient to do.
SwitcherDND is available via Cydia for free. All you have to do is download the app and install it. Be sure to respring after installing SwitcherDND. The app doesn’t need to be configured and there is no Settings window for it, so from the ease of use point of view, SwitcherDND is honestly as easy as a Cydia app can get. Whenever you would like to activate the mode, simply use the designated button on the left side of your iPhone to do so.
Anyway, my question is why Apple doesn’t see the fact that users are looking for a way to instantly enable or disable the ‘Do not disturb’ mode over on their iOS devices. Perhaps such a feature will be offered in the future, but until then, we’ll have to stick to this way.
Based on everything that has been outlined so far, what do you personally think about SwitcherDND? Does it represent a Cydia tweak that you would like to have on your device? Why or why not? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section below.
