We’ve covered a similar Cydia tweak in the past, but this one may do its job even better when compared to the last one. With this in mind, how many of us have sent a message and realised, on pressing send, that it was going to the wrong person? Unfortunately, once you press send, that’s it and your message is gone. Luckily, there is now a jailbreak tweak called SendDelay that gives you that second chance that may be ‘life-saving’ in some cases.
SendDelay imposes a short delay before your message is actually sent. In your message app, you will notice a red “stop” option during sending, so you can still quickly cancel it out. If you don’t press it, the message will simply send.
SendDelay means you no longer have to accidentally send embarrassing messages or waste credit by sending them to the wrong person. It works with your iOS stock Message app, but also with Viper, WhatsApp and more, all to ensure that your messages are being sent to the write person, or that you won’t regret what may have been written in them/
Once installed, the stock Settings app will have an additional preference pane that allows you to set your delay time, ranging from 0 to 5 seconds. That’s all you need to do to activate the app.
The delay can be slightly annoying, particularly if you are sending multiple messages. However, all you really need to do is change your settings to 0 seconds in that case, and you won’t have the delay.
