There is a tweak on Cydia called HiddenSettings7 that allows you to gain access to the internal settings of Springboard and configure it. If you haven’t had enough of it, InternalPhotos is a new jailbreak tweak that allows you to gain access to the hidden settings for the Photos app.
It was first exposed by popular jailbreak developer Andrew Wiik on Twitter, but has now been developed by Poom Smart in the form of a tweak allowing you to easily get access to the secret settings. The tweak adds a settings cog icon to the Albums section of the Photos app where you can view the configurations.
You’ll find many different configurations, most of which might not make sense, but are designed for advanced users. So if you don’t know what something is, we recommend that you don’t mess around with it. For instance, you enable ‘Fake All Videos’ toggle that will represent your images as videos by adding a tiny video icon to the bottom left corner of every photo make it appear as a video.
If you ever messed up the settings, you can restore back to the default configuration by pressing the ‘Restore All Defaults’ button at the bottom of the settings.
As you’d expect, InternalPhotos is available on Cydia for completely free of charge and supports devices running iOS 7.
