LabelShift allows you to adjust the height of the application labels

By | October 18, 2014

One of the most common tweaks on Cydia is the one that allows you to get rid of the application labels on the Home screen and many user seem to like the idea. If you’re one of them, you should probably consider giving LabelShift a try.

LabelShift is a tweak dedicated to the app labels and is quite different than similar tweaks on Cydia. Instead of allowing you to hide the labels, the tweak enables you to adjust their height. This means that you can move the labels as close to the application or further away from them.

The change isn’t much visible, but if you’re very picky about the details of iOS, you might be interested in the tweak.

Upon installing LabelShift, head to its preference pane from the stock Settings app in order to configure it. From there, you can enable or disable the tweak via the kill switch toggle as well as adjust the height of the labels via the slider available. The values range from 0 to 5 with 0 being the lowest and 5 being the highest height.

Once you’ve chosen an appropriate height, tap on the Respring button right below the slider to apply the changes.

If you’re interested in the tweak, head to Cydia and download it from BigBoss for free. The tweak works on all devices running iOS 7.
