There are a number of jailbreak tweaks that offer better battery indicator for iOS users. Alkaline is a good example of such tweak. However, although Alkaline and several other existing tweaks work great with older iOS devices, they are very glitchy on an iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.
Have you ever felt like the battery indicator over on your iOS device was not really accurate? Well, if you are looking for a good battery indicator for your iOS device, this next Cydia tweak could be an alternative to look into. Lithium, a new jailbreak tweak for iOS 8, is offering the same functions as Alkaline, but with smoother interface and a much better set of functions.
You can install Lithium from Cydia’s ModMyi repo. The install process takes no more than a few seconds, after which a respring is needed. You will then find an additional tab on your stock Settings app. You can then enable Lithium with just a tap.
Lithium comes with several basic themes, most – if not all – of which are quite similar to what Alkaline is offering. You can switch between themes in just one tap and do a respring. The jailbreak app will load the new theme automatically once you selected it.
Another good thing about Lithium is the fact that you can create your own theme using JavaScript. Since JavaScript is fairly easy to use, I’m sure there will be a lot of interesting themes being released for this tweak. Even better, the tweak works flawlessly with newer iOS devices, including the iPhone 6 Plus and the iPhone 6, which is great news from all the points of view.

Lithium does not rely on Winterboard for theming. I personally like how this jailbreak tweak just works out of the box. I currently have it installed on my phone and activated permanently, which is one of the main reasons why I don’t run out of battery anymore.
